Meet Brandi.

Brandi works with her boss Terry Smith on a rental assistance case.
ME: What brought you to NRHA?
BC: The Nevada State Legislature had just wrapped up its session and my assignment with them was complete. I was lucky to find out about an open position with NRHA.
ME: What do you like best about your job?
BC: I like being able to assist people with housing, especially the elderly and the children. It’s a great feeling knowing that people can feel secure about having a roof over their head in this economy.

Notes of appreciation from clients
ME: What do you like the least?
BC: There really isn’t anything that I don’t like about my job. All my co-workers are wonderful, which makes it an absolute joy to come to work.

ME: What do you feel you bring to NRHA?
BC: I feel that I bring compassion and understanding to NRHA. I can relate to clients who use our program as I have been in tough situations before. I know what it feels like to wonder where the money is going to come from for rent and bills.
ME: What do you want people to know about you?
BC: I have a wonderful family with three kids, a great husband and a new little puppy.
ME: Tell us something we don’t know about you.
BC: I was a princess… Seriously, I danced in Native American Pow Wows and I was a princess for the American Indian Film Institute based out of San Francisco California. I was a Jingle Dress Dancer.
